Selection of Superior Clones by the Multi-Dimensional Decision-Making Techniques in Scots Pine Seed Orchard

The living conditions of beings are becoming ever more difficult due to the climate change caused by industrialization. Forests, which have a great importance in terms natural resources, one main elements prevent this situation. Therefore, it is important ensure sustainability forests and increase their genetic structural quality. Appropriate farms clonal seed orchards should be established with purpose achieving diversity. This way, quantitative traits clones, located these orchards, depending on growth performance, cone yield can determined. In study, best clones were determined through MAUT WASPAS methods, some multiple criteria decision-making techniques. was done using height diameter measurements 30 Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) selected according random sampling method 3 different blocks Erzurum region. Based sum product assessment multi-attribute utility theory model results, 22 29 as superior prospective for further breeding procedures seedling root collar diameter. According entropy method, maximum weights obtained Block-3 0.580175 Block-1 0.590017, respectively.
